AGREEMENT FOR LOW BUDGET PRODUCTIONS
We look forward to providing you with our services but we require
you to agree to the following terms & conditions:
Production Values
- Your production supports the values expressed in The SOUND MANIFESTO.
- You communicate these production values to your heads of department.
Preproduction
- You invite us to preproduction meetings concerning production sound, particularly when scouting possible shooting locations.
- You provide us with a shooting script and storyboards at least two days before shooting.
Production
- You inform us in advance of all setups and shots for the day; this might be done by inviting us to attend the morning production meeting between the Director and Director of Photography.
Financial
- You pay for our daily travel expenses to and from the production set.
- You agree to pay our low budget equipment hire rate
of £200 per day.
- You agree to pay our low budget rate of £300
per person per day up to a maximum of 10 hours per day.
- You agree to pay our low budget overtime rate of £40
per hour up to a maximum of 4 hours per day.
- You pay for the following consumables: photocopies, DVD media and batteries.
- You arrange for the safe parking of our car and pay any parking fees.
Credits
- You clearly display the name of the sound crew in your screen credits.
- You supply us with at least one copy of your movie.
Health & Safety
- You are fully insured against accidents to crew and property.
- You do not ask us to take risks that might cause us personal
injury or break the law.
- You do not ask us to take risks that might damage our equipment.
- You will provide lunch breaks some time between 12 and 2 pm
and dinner breaks some time between 6 and 8 pm.
- You provide free food, drinks and arrange adequate toilet facilities
during these breaks.
The SOUND MANIFESTO will provide your production with the following:
- Daily Sound Files on DVD media
- Daily Sound Reports on paper.
